In our discussion about Siemens Healthineers' experience with Mentimeter, we interviewed key stakeholders - Marc Schlichtner, Portfolio Manager at Digital & Automation, Dennis Martin, Head of Digital Infrastructure Services, and six users from different departments within Siemens Healthineers.
The search for a tool to support interactivity
In recent years, Siemens Healthineers has been seeking a tool to help them increase employee engagement, particularly in virtual settings.

After conducting a market analysis to find tools that support interaction and audience engagement, Marc discovered Mentimeter.

Marc has been using Mentimeter in the Transformation Club of Siemens Healthineers to make talks with thought leaders from around the globe more interactive and appealing. The reach of these sessions increased the demand among the employees to have a tool available that facilitates interaction, engagement, and feedback collection in virtual settings.
Adopting Mentimeter's Enterprise plan
As the demand for Mentimeter increased, Dennis, Head of Digital Infrastructure Services, emphasized the importance of ensuring compliance, aligning with internal guidelines and regulatory laws, and improving employees' access to Mentimeter accounts.
A working group was formed to drive the IT Clearing and procurement process for the Enterprise plan. This process involved evaluating areas such as information security, data privacy, cyber security, and more.

Once the procurement process was completed and the contract was signed, Siemens Healthineers received guidance from the Customer Success team to begin the rollout. They immediately implemented single sign-on (SSO) to ensure secure access to Mentimeter accounts across the organization.
The next step on the agenda is automating license distribution to streamline administrative tasks and ensure everyone who wishes to use Mentimeter can do so.
